We just love working with our past clients on new projects.

During this window treatment project, we addressed light control for the bedrooms of this wonderful home. The teenagers needed room darkening material to control light, and the parents really wanted to filter light and enhance their privacy for the Master Bedroom.

For the teenager’s room, we chose Hunter Douglas Solera Shades: energy efficient Roman Shades with a contemporary twist.  The fluid, unique look of Solera Soft Shades is created by combining the soft folds of a classic Roman shade with the construction of a cellular shade. These cordless soft shades bring together soft, diaphanous folds of fabric with a cellular construction. The result? A striking soft window treatment that’s also energy-efficient. Smartly designed pockets trap air and keep your home warmer or cooler, depending on the season.

In the parent’s room, we chose Motorized Hunter Douglas Silhouette DuoLites for windows that truly glow. Such a great way to effortlessly manage light and privacy at the same time, either from their smartphone App or with the press of a button while lying in bed. Silhouette Window Shadings have unique S-shaped vanes that float between two sheer panels to beautifully diffuse the light in any room and, when the vanes are tilted it blocks the outside view into the room. The DuoLite design option offers light filtering and room darkening in one: it uses two separate fabric panels of diffusing opacities in a single shade. The shades can be configured in a variety of open and closed positions providing numerous view-through and privacy options.
